Bank User Arrested for False Robbery Report: Chihuahua Authorities Take Action

Chihuahua, Chih.- Due to alleged false statements before the authority, a bank user was placed at the disposal of the State Attorney General’s Office since according to the investigation, the man had lied when reporting that he had been assaulted when leaving a banking institution.

The municipal Intelligence area with the support of the Chihuahua Shield Platform (PECUU), located the exact moment who identified himself as Óscar Eduardo ML, had mentioned as the place where he suffered a robbery with violence when he was aboard a truck on the 5th of present month. To which he might only accept that he had not suffered any assault.

The municipal agents immediately notified personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office, who arrested Óscar Alonso at the time he was testifying before said body, trying to pass off the alleged car theft as an assault.
