The World Anti-Doping Agency said that “the IFBB’s non-compliance in implementing a screening and testing regime and insufficient resources to develop any anti-doping program prompted this action.”
The statement issued by the World Agency added that the International Federation of Bodybuilding did not contest these allegations.
And the world agency added that all testing activities of the International Federation of Bodybuilding will be subject to the supervision of a third party as a result, while representatives of the federation will be excluded from participating or attending any events that include several sports, including the Olympics, until the sport returns to competitions.
