The Hong Kong Stock Exchange ended up 4.10% on Tuesday, after Beijing promised to introduce new stimulus measures for the Chinese economy, particularly for the real estate sector.
The Hang Seng index thus closed with a gain of 766.25 points, at 19,434.40 points. Other Chinese stock markets also ended up: the Shanghai Composite Index rose 2.13% to 3,231.52 points, while the Shenzhen Composite Index gained 2.19% to 2,048.15 points.
