Members of the Bel Horizon association have just handed Florence Dalenc, professor at the University Cancer Institute of Toulouse-Oncopole, a check for €10,000. A wonderful donation that will support cancer research, as well as the “COACH” nurse coordination and telephone follow-up device.
This sum was collected thanks to the various actions carried out by the association during the year 2022. In particular during the organization of a meal show within the exhibition center, for the benefit of research against breast cancer. An evening filled with generosity. More than 250 people responded to the call of the president, Anne-Marie Boutet.
The meal had been prepared and served by students from the hotel section of the François Camel trades high school. The Liberta troupe had meanwhile thrilled the public.
All the books made by the volunteers have been sold. And the lottery was also sold out, as was the raffle organized in collaboration with the city’s merchants.
Professor Dalenc warmly thanked the volunteers and donors who got involved. This meeting also made it possible to discuss the association’s 2023 projects. And they are many. It is possible to follow the association’s news and upcoming actions on the “Bel Horizon” Facebook page.
