Belarus has introduced a fee for waiting in line at the border. The corresponding decree was signed by Alexander Lukashenko, the document is published on the official website the President of the Republic.

β€œIn order to improve the efficiency of the electronic queue system, the Decree cancels the free placement of vehicles in the waiting area. The previously existing service of paid booking of the time of entry of vehicles to the checkpoint from the waiting area is also canceled,” the document says.

All cars and other vehicles, before entering the waiting area, will have to pay registration in the electronic queue system. At the same time, entry into the waiting area itself will be carried out on a first-come, first-served basis, the press service of the President of Belarus specified.
