Activists denounce the fact that Belgium also allows “large Belgian institutions, such as Solvay, ULB, UNamur or KULeuven, to participate in arming Israel”. They demand the closure of Elbit Systems and “any other Israeli arms company”, the end of military partnerships linking Belgian institutions with Israel and that the federal and regional governments take measures to prohibit the export of weapons destined for the country, for example for the latter by withdrawing business establishment and operation permits from any company involved in Israeli arms.
