Rome – The autumn 2025 Rai schedule is set to deliver a mix of returning favorites and exciting new content, even as the network navigates budget adjustments. Confirmed programming includes the return of flagship Rai1 prime-time shows, Stefano De Martino’s popular access programs, and Rai3’s in-depth analysis offerings.

Star-Studded Events And Premieres

Adding to the excitement, Roberto Benigni will present a special event from the heart of the Vatican in December, commemorating the Jubilee’s closure.

Febuary will see Whoopi Goldberg guest-starring in “A Sunrise,” celebrating its 30th anniversary with a blend of sentiment and mystery during one month. To boost Rai Play’s appeal, Kevin Spacey will headline the Sit Com “Mini Market,” available starting in November.

Giampaolo Rossi,Rai’s CEO,revealed the programming details, emphasizing the company’s ongoing “metamorphosis” and a new industrial plan that breaks with past practices. Rossi also highlighted the modernization of real estate structures and the multimedia change underway.

Budget cuts amount to approximately 26 million euros over two years. The program “Report” is slated to give up four episodes in June 2026, coinciding with the potential broadcast of the Football World Championship, should Rai secure the rights.
