Big fire in progress near Ninglinspo in Aywaille, rescue on site (video)

This Wednesday, around 3 p.m., a big fire broke out near the Ninglinspo in Aywaille at a place called “Sedoz”. Forty firefighters and 18 vehicles were sent to the scene to control the disaster.

The road after the Nonceveux bridge in the direction of Stoumont was even closed to allow the intervention of the emergency services. Many resources are on site: 18 vehicles with 41 firefighters, including 7 vehicles from the VHP zone (pump truck, self-ladder, tank, officer, Pc-Ops, drone).

Civil protection reinforcements (three tanks) are on site, as well as two federal police helicopters (one for the water drop and one for the thermal camera). The N633 is currently closed in both directions to allow extinguishing operations.

At the time of this writing, the extent of the fire was not yet known.
