The World Health Organization has warned that the bird flu epidemic around the world can also spread very quickly among humans. World Health Organization Chief Scientist Jeremy Ferrar has described bird flu variant A(H5N1) as a ‘global zoonotic animal pandemic’.

The World Health Organization has stated that the spread of H5N1 has a high rate of death in humans. Extraordinary caution is required in this regard.

Since its emergence in 2020, the virus has caused hundreds of millions of deaths in the poultry sector on a massive scale. In America, this virus is now also targeting domestic cattle. As a result, the risk of humans also being infected has increased.

Speaking at a press conference in Geneva, World Health Organization Chief Scientist Jeremy Ferrar said governments should take measures to stop the spread of the virus. The same precautions that were taken in connection with Corona should be taken. After targeting chickens and ducks, the virus has now spread to mammals. This virus is also capable of being transmitted from human to human.
