Bitcoin has received a new boost through an exchange-traded cryptocurrency investment fund, as financial investment and asset management giant BlackRock has filed an application with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to launch a cryptocurrency exchange-traded fund.
Bitcoin continued its rise for the third day in a row, as it rose today by more than 7%, to exceed the level of $30,000 per unit for the first time since late April.
