The favorite of the public, the Princess of Wales, turned out to be completely unsuitable for the household. At least cooking, the fans concluded, is clearly not her forte.

On Shrovetide week, the wife of Prince William decided to please the inhabitants of the nursing home with her visit. The always elegant princess this time dressed in dark blue flared jeans and a matching turtleneck. From outerwear, she preferred a sand-colored coat. Kate Middleton took a pretty bunch of flowers with her.

The Duchess of Cambridge tried to pay attention to each ward of the hospice. Separately, she honored an old woman named Nora, who celebrated her birthday the day before.

“109 years of youth… Nice to meet you, Nora! <...> Thank you for inviting me,” Middleton wrote under the touching photo.

The princess devotes a lot of time to charity

The cordial staff of the hospice invited the monarch to take part in the “pancake day”, which was just held in the institution. Kate moved to the stove and hesitantly reached for the pan. Cameras were installed everywhere, and Middleton decided to immediately warn that she was not strong in cooking. The pancake from the princess really did not work out – instead of it, a slightly burnt shapeless lump turned out to be in the pan.

“I will try to do this, but I think the pancake will get stuck in the pan. Definitely don’t eat this! All previously made pancakes are much prettier,” said the princess smiling.

As a result, Kate Middleton decided to give way to professionals and just watch what was happening. Staff and residents of Oxford House remained diplomatically silent, not focusing on the failure of the Duchess. However, during the visit, the monarch managed to discuss with the leadership how to improve the lives of elderly guests.
