In 2005, Blanco y Negro began directing the destinations of Colo Colo. After more than 18 years of concession, the administration still has not managed to settle the debt, one of the main commitments it assumed in the concession contract. Thus, one of the questions that is heard is what happens if ByN fails to pay the debt in 2035, the year in which the concession ends.

The one who cleared up this question and clarified the panorama was the president of the CSD Colo Colo himself, Matías Camacho. Along with mentioning that the debt currently reaches $13,600 millionthe boss exposed the two alternatives that the Popular group has from now on.

Colo Colo’s debt: Another headache

As stated by Camacho, if ByN reaches 2035 and is in a position to pay the debt with which it was committed, the concession contract will be automatically renewed, but the CSD Colo Colo becomes the owner of 50% of the club, thus increasing their percentage of participation.

However, If those who currently manage the destinies of the Cacique fail to fulfill their promise, Macul’s squad would become the owner of 99% of the institution and would assume the entire debt.
