After a first beta quite productive according to Blizzard, the studio gives us meet in mid-June to discover the future of Overwatch 2whose dates of the next phase of public testing.
On the game’s official blog, the director Aaron Keller wanted to thank the players who participated in the first closed beta which took place a few weeks ago, ensuring that there is still much to do.
- The world and universe of Overwatch is something deeply personal to the team; we devote our time, our creative energy and our passion to it. Daring to show others something we care about so much can be scary. This is all the more true when the project is not yet finished and you ask for honest and relevant opinions on what you are creating.
- But this approach is motivated by an important reason: we want to offer you the best game possible, and it is thanks to our players and our community that this is possible. These tests are an essential part of Overwatch’s improvement process. We can’t wait to evolve the game with the lessons we learned from the beta, and we can’t wait to show you the result.
This brief speech surely takes into account return of players who feel that the current state of Overwatch 2 does not bring of dramatic change to the original PVP experience, making the title feel more like an expansion than a true full game. Is June 16 event will provide answers to their questions?
With a preview challenging PVE modeslet’s be crazy.
