Blizzard Previews Plains of Ohn’ahra, One of Dragonflight’s Zones – World of Warcraft

Blizzard has released a preview of the Plains of Ohn’ahra, one of the areas of Dragonflight currently available in the expansion’s Closed Alpha. We are helping the Centaurs there as well as the Green Dragonflight, led by Merithra. Find it now below.

Discover the plains of Ohn’ahra, a verdant region with vast plateaus, studded with mesas, groves and valleys teeming with life.

The Plains of Ohn’ahra are named after the wild goddess of the wind, Ohn’ahra. These smaragdin meadows tower over the shores of Awakening, and are littered with gentle hills and steppes shaped by winds and rivers. Numerous geysers from which boiling columns of steam emanate bring this spectacular mountain region to life.

If the green dragonflight once called it home, nature has now reclaimed its rights over the plains of Ohn’ahra. Its magnificent lush vegetation and calm waters that cross the Emerald Gardens make it a region as wonderful as it is natural, where the magic of the Emerald Dream has been able to operate.

These plains open to the horizon are teeming with life, and its landscapes are dotted with singing stones.

Population and fauna of Ohn’ahra

Ever more numerous, the clans of centaurs have settled on the vast plateaus of the plain, each to develop their own culture and specialize in various fields. The centaur clans maintain their roots with these lands, in order to preserve their traditions at all costs. Those who seek to help them will gain their trust.

This area is teeming with life. Tall grass surrounds waterholes that attract significant wildlife, prey to hungry proto-dragons that roam the skies. Here are some of the creatures you will encounter on your journey.

Mammoth

Blue Hornstrider (French translation to come)
