This incident affects the payment terminals of brands which use the same technical service provider, once more according to the Groupement des Cartes Bleues. Thus, the breakdown is not widespread. On X (formerly Twitter), some users are reporting problems at Carrefour, Darty, Leroy Merlin, Auchan, and even Ikea. McDonald’s confirmed “a national breakdown” which affects brands “since noon”.
