Boomer shooter “Forgive me Father” is getting a sequel – indie games

It was just over a year ago that the pixelated, HP Lovecraft-inspired first-person shooter “Forgive me Father” was praised in a review by STANDARD for its extraordinary style, heavy metal soundtrack and crisp difficulty level became. The game falls into a category that Generation Z likes to refer to as “boomer shooters”: This refers to current games that imitate the style of 1990s shooters such as “Doom” and “Wolfenstein”. Now the Czech Fulqrum Publishing and the Polish developer Byte Barrel are going one better and are presenting new gameplay material for a sequel.
