A 13-year-old boy fell over a five-meter-high edge into a stream bed while tobogganing in Kleinwalsertal on Thursday and injured himself. He was rescued by two adult companions, police said. After receiving initial care from mountain rescue, the 13-year-old was flown by helicopter to hospital in Kempten (Bavaria) with injuries.
Shortly before 12 p.m., the adolescent was on his toboggan on the hiking trail in Bärgunttal as a member of a youth group. For an unknown reason, he lost control of his sports equipment and veered off the path. As a result, the 13-year-old fell into the bed of the Berguntbach.
