BRITISH TANK DESTROYED IN UKRAINE
A British Challenger 2 tank, delivered by London to kyiv, was destroyed, British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps has confirmed. “This is the first loss that we know of,” he told Sky News. “We accept that in a war zone, there may be material losses,” he added, however, adding that London did not plan to replace the vehicle.
As a reminder, the UK delivered 14 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine this year. It would be the first destruction of such a device on a battlefield since its commissioning in 1994, apart from a copy hit by friendly fire in Iraq in 2003, as specified by the Guardian on Tuesday.

A DEATH IN ODESSA
One person was killed by a Russian drone attack on the Odessa region in southern Ukraine, local governor Oleg Kiper announced, adding that port and agricultural infrastructure had been damaged. “Unfortunately, one person died” of his injuries in the hospital, he lamented, adding that the victim was employed in agriculture.
