BUAP Medicine students march to demand justice after the death of Thais Madelene – El Sol de Puebla

A great show of solidarity by the university community civil organizations and parentswas what was lived during the march called by students of the BUAP Faculty of Medicinewho took to the streets to demand justice for their partner, Thais Madelene Ronquillowho died in a traffic accident last Tuesday.

“Justice for our sister Thais”, “Not one gown less”, “FACMED is on the streets demanding justice for Thais”, “Covid is not the only murderer”, “Thais was studying to save lives and they took hers away” , were some of the slogans that the students shouted as they passed.

The contingent departed from the Faculty of Medicine BUAP and advanced on the avenue 31 west towards the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), to later join the boulevard 5 de Mayo.

To this contingent was added a motorcycle group, who accompanied the students to demand a security law in the state that establishes speed bumps, in order to reduce the number of traffic accidents in Puebla.

“We want justice”, the students sentenced when they arrived at the FGE, who stopped for a moment in front of the agency with banners, candles and flowers, to request that the investigation process to clarify the facts be accelerated.

“Our classmate was going to school to sign her grades, we are not asking, we are demanding justice, we know that Thais is present because our fight continues”shouted a student during the stop at the FGE.
