This Saturday evening, a fire broke out on a farm located in Burdinne. Around 6 p.m., firefighters from the Hesbaye area were called to go to rue des Thiers to try to contain the fire: around twenty men went to the scene. Two pumpers, two tankers, an officer vehicle and a reinforcement tanker were deployed.
The area commander also visited the site. The fire was brought under control around 9:30 p.m. and caused no injuries. A surveillance team will remain on site for a few more hours to ensure that the fire does not restart.
According to the Hesbaye emergency zone, the fire was large. He touched the stables where there were bulls in particular. Some may have died in the flames.
