A building housing two businesses was engulfed in flames on Saturday evening on Bélanger Street, near De Lorimier Avenue, in Montreal.

The blaze broke out around 9:15 p.m. in one of the businesses, said Sandra Lisi, section chief at the Montreal Fire Department (SIM).

About 75 firefighters were dispatched to the scene and were still working to bring the blaze under control shortly before 11 p.m.
No injuries were reported, but some damage has already been seen in the one-story building.

The cause of the fire was still unknown at the end of the evening, it was specified.
