The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the cabinet approved, during today’s session, the implementation of a strategic plan to address traffic jams in Baghdad and the provinces.”
In a second decision, the Council of Ministers obligated all government agencies to sell goods and services in Iraqi dinars, according to the official exchange rate of (1470) dinars to one dollar.
According to the statement, the council approved the winter agricultural plan for the current season, bringing the total area cultivated on water to two and a half million dunums.
