The latest survey by the market consulting firm iMedia Research shows that camping has become a trendy trend of Chinese people in recent years, with a market size reaching 74.75 billion yuan ($11.14 billion) in 2021, up 62.5% from a year earlier.

As a new form of tourism, camping is expected to be a growth point promoting domestic consumption.

According to the survey, the economic scale of this new type of tourism is estimated to increase to 248.32 billion yuan by 2025.
