While many features allow you to unbox and upgrade the RAM and storage, the HP Envy x360 (2022) isn’t one of them, you might think the 2-in-1 is upgradeable but, unfortunately, everything is soldered to the motherboard On HP Envy x360 (2022).
What this means is that you will have to pay HP extra to upgrade the storage and RAM when you purchase the device. You can push up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Fortunately, the upgrades are relatively affordable compared to other laptops, costing between $20 and $120.

Across both the 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch models, HP allows you to upgrade to up to 16GB of RAM, with 8GB of RAM being the stock option. In either case, HP uses dual-channel DDR4 memory. The 8GB RAM model has a dual stick of 2GB, while the 16GB RAM model has a dual stick of 8GB. Upgrading to 16GB of RAM costs an additional $70.

Depending on which HP Envy x360 (2022) model you purchase, you’ll get 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. The 13.3-inch model comes with 512GB of storage as default, while the 15.6-inch Intel and AMD models both come with 256GB of storage. If you want to upgrade, you will pay between $20 and $120.
