Al-Marsad newspaper: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah clarified the most prominent developments regarding the implementation of the decision to lift the precautionary measures in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

It included canceling the immunization status check to enter the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, and canceling the requirement to register immunization data to obtain a Umrah permit in case of coming from outside the Kingdom.

These included: canceling the issuance of prayer permits in the Grand Mosque and permits to visit the Prophet and his two companions, and continuing to issue permits to perform Umrah and visit the honorable kindergarten.

In addition to applying social distancing measures in the Two Holy Mosques, and continuing to oblige to wear a mask while in them. And the abolition of the requirement to submit a negative result for an approved PCR test or an approved test for coronavirus antigens. And the abolition of the requirement of institutional and home quarantine on pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom.
