One of the best-known alternatives to Lightroom (from Adobe), Capture One is coming to iPhones. Allowing users to connect their cameras and capture directly through its interface, the app was already available for macOS e iPadOSand features some features tailored for motion capture.

Supporting more than 500 cameras (including models from Canon, Sony and Nikon), the iPhone app lets you apply edits to images being captured as they’re uploaded to the device — allowing photographers to send with quick and practical sketches and drafts to your customers.

It features tight integration with Apple’s operating systems, which means that photographers using the AirDrop quickly access styles created on desktop or iPad. You can also save drafts to continue editing in another application or in the Capture One Prowhich makes it possible to make more creative edits in less time.

Another good possibility in the iOS app is to share a live link of a photo session — which allows third parties to follow it in real time. It is a very interesting resource, as it allows employees to provide feedback and suggestions even if they are not on site.

Also coming with the iPhone app are other smaller features like RAW conversion and color processing. Once you’re done editing, you can export your files virtually anywhere — even an external HDD/SSD.

Although it has a free version, Capture One works in subscription mode, leaving for BRL 24 per month.
