An 18-year-old car driver from the Linz-Land district may have overlooked a girl at the intersection of Tillysburgerstrasse and the L568. The 9-year-old, who was on her way to school, wanted to cross a protective path around 7:45 a.m. when she was hit by the 18-year-old’s vehicle turning left. The student fell and sustained such serious injuries that she had to be taken to a hospital by emergency services, the police said on Thursday.
