Carlos Alcaraz and Ben Shelton meet for the title at La Défense Arena in the Paris Masters final, with the match scheduled around 15:00 local time.
The clash brings together two of the game’s top talents in their first major tournament final against each other, arriving just a week after the American player announced his professional link with Juan Carlos Ferrero for 2027.
Path to the Paris Final
Alcaraz advanced to his first final in the French capital by defeating Norway’s Casper Ruud with a straight-set 6-4, 6-4 scoreline in 86 minutes (RTVE). The Spanish star did not concede a single break point during the semifinal victory.
On the other side of the draw, Shelton secured his spot by overcoming France’s Luca Van Assche 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinals following a quarterfinal win over Tommy Paul (RTVE). The American contender is aiming for his third Masters 1000 trophy after previous triumphs in Toronto in 2025 and Montreal in 2026 (RTVE).

Alcaraz Chases Historic Masters 1000 Record Against Shelton
Alcaraz holds a 3-1 advantage in head-to-head meetings against Shelton, but the American claimed victory in their most recent encounter during the quarterfinals of the US Open in a grueling five-set match that concluded late into the New York night.
If Alcaraz secures the victory, he will join an elite group as only the third player in history to win Masters 1000 tournaments in five consecutive years, matching the achievements of Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal (RTVE). Spanish tennis has also waited years for another indoor champion at this event since David Ferrer lifted the trophy in 2012.
Tournament Concludes with Central Court Action at 15:00
Action on the central court at La Défense Arena gets underway at around the scheduled 15:00 local time, bringing a brand new champion to the tournament honor roll.
