The acting guild in Mexico has gone through various situations over the decades. In this sense, there is currently a struggle to define who will be in charge of supporting actors who are in an advanced age or in a precarious situation, be it financial or health.
Given this, one of these actors who did not hesitate to raise his voice and hand to support another partner was Carlos Bonavideswho expressed concern about the Andres Garcia’s state of healthwhom he referred to in a recent interview as a member of his guild who needs help and cannot be left adrift now that he is very ill.
Benavides has been aware of what García communicates through his interviews and YouTube channel, so he proposed that he be provide space in the House of the Actor or, if you do not accept this as an option, give you other medical support to improve your health.
Carlos Bonavides defends Andrés García
The actor recalled that García is in need at this time and requires help, to which he joins so that other actors support.
“I think we should form a group in ANDA and help him because he is the last of the gallants of television and cinema. What I want to do is see how I help Andrés García, I’m going to turn to some friends or I don’t know if Ortiz de Pinedo can, but you see that (Andrés García) is half foolish but it would be better if he were in the House of the Actor, he would be better served, “he proposed.
He understands because he went through the same thing
Of course, we can all make mistakes and fall to the bottom due to a health problem or addictions, Carlos Bonavides endorsed his intention by recalling that he also made bad decisions and received help from his union.
“We are a union that we must help each other and more so the one that is convalescing and Andrés García is alone because he ran away from the married couple who helped him, we cannot criticize him above all because of his age because everyone waters it, I watered it for years, decades and I they helped so how can I not help”, he said.
To finish, he took his call further and urged that media personalities not only report the news, but also join and support Andrés García.
“I would like my call to reach the Hoy or Maxime Woodside program. I don’t think I need money but I do need some other type of attention, put a nurse on it. There must be some way, God blesses me with work and we cannot be indifferent and nothing more to give the news, we have to do something like it was done by the House of the Actor, now is the time or what are the friends for, “he concluded.
