After this bottle feeding episode, the father got angry. He grabbed the little girl by the wrists, shook her and threw her on the bed.
After contact with an ONE nurse, the parents went to the hospital where the doctor suspected abuse. “There was notably a fracture, more than 10 days old, at the level of a wrist. The child also had a problem with his elbow and was unable to properly move one of his arms,” explained the magistrate.
While the mother recognized the bottle scene, the father contested all the facts with which he was accused. At most he admitted that the little one had slipped from his hands and that he had caught her by the arm.
The court found that the father had deliberately harmed his children. He sentences him to a 40-month prison sentence with suspended probation for what goes beyond preventive detention.
The girl’s mother received a work sentence of 80 hours.
