He stated that a decision was issued to allow a pharmacist who has completed a training course to give injection medicine to a patient, whether by intramuscular injection or by subcutaneous route, provided that there is a prescription and the availability of medicines that take into account allergy symptoms.

He pointed out that the Ministry prepared a training course a week ago, and training courses can be obtained through the Amiriya Fatima Center, or places approved by the Ministry of Health, as the training course will be through first aid and will take more than a day. A certificate approved by the Ministry of Health that he successfully completed the course.

He pointed out that in the event that the patient goes to the pharmacy to obtain a drug, whether by injection, he must seek the help of a medical prescription, whether at home or in the hospital, stressing that the decision preserves the rights of the pharmacist and the safety of the patient.
