Al Ain, December 5, WAM / His Excellency Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, the Cultural Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, Supreme President of the United Arab Emirates University, confirmed that volunteering has become an established culture and a regular way of life for all citizens and residents on the land of the Emirates of Goodness, who are making intensive efforts to promote leadership The country at the global level in all humanitarian fields and building a bright future for future generations.

His Excellency said – in a statement on the occasion of International Volunteer Day, which falls on the fifth of December -: “Our wise government, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, is following the approach and legacy of the founder and builder of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.” “May God have mercy on him,” who gave great attention to voluntary work and humanitarian giving, until it became a characteristic of the people of the Emirates and residents on its land, working as one big family with love and harmony for the interest of the homeland and keenness on its security and safety.

He added: “The International Volunteer Day, adopted by the United Nations on the fifth of December every year, is one of the days in which volunteering is celebrated in all countries of the world in order to thank volunteers for their tremendous efforts and devoting their precious time to serving others. Through this celebration we seek to Promoting the idea of ​​volunteering among young people to protect the country’s achievements and build on them to reach global leadership with young national arms, who are keen on their country and preserve its path, and contribute with daring and excellence to spreading the culture of love for humanitarian work and volunteering among the younger generations, and achieving cohesion among members of society.
