In the midst of a significant police deployment, Emerenciano Sena And his wife Marcela Acuñacharged by the femicide of Cecilia Strzyzowskiwere transferred this Thursday to Penitentiary Complex No. 1 of Chaco to celebrate the birthday of his son César Senaaccused of being the author of the crime.
Within the framework of a plan family reconnection, established last week by Judge Mercedes Pereyra, the Sena family met again for the first time after six months of incommunicado detention, after being accused of the young woman’s crime on June 2. The reunion occurred to coincide with César’s 20th birthday.
Around 6:30 a.m., Emerenciano Sena, housed in the Tercera Resistencia police station, and Marcela Acuña, in the Sexta Resistencia police station, were transferred to the Villa Barberán Penitentiary Complex, in Resistencia, where their son is imprisoned.

The parents of the alleged femicide were transported in mobile phones from the Provincial Penitentiary Service, under a strong police operation which included the participation of personnel from the General Directorate of Highway Police, Special Operations Corps Department, Motorized Operations Corps Division, the Third, Fifth and Seventh Police Stations of Resistance, and the Canes Division.
The young man had to be treated hours before the family reunion for having suffered the beginning of asphyxiation, when he was affected by the burning of a mattress carried out by an inmate in a cell near his, reported the newspaper La Nación.

“At the end of each visit, the head of Penitentiary Complex No. 1, Darío Candia, must prepare and send via email a report detailing the course of the same, management, development and conduct of the three detained people, existence or non-existence of inconveniences and any other information that is useful for the course of the proceedings. You must also do so once the four authorized visits are completed,” details the statement issued on Sunday by the Guarantees Court No. 1.
The next visits will be 21 y December 28th and the day January 4 of 2024 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., according to the family resolution.
