Châlons-en-Champagne Fair until September 11: three good reasons to go there

2023-09-01 14:53:24

The Châlons-en-Champagne Fair takes place from September 1 to 11. It is the largest agricultural fair in France, after the Paris Agricultural Show. Here are three good reasons to go there.

The Fair of Châlons (in the Marne) begins to have the weight of experience. This is the 77th edition of this agricultural show which has become, over the years, the second event of its kind in France (behind the imposing Paris Agricultural Show). So, with nearly 800 exhibitors (including a car sales center), 220 conferences on the program, as well as many political figures coming to make their comeback (Bruno Le Maire, Édouard Philippe, Jordan Bardella, Fabien Roussel, etc.), each, during his wanderings in the alleys, will find his happiness there. However, we have selected three key themes for you.

1

Animals

The Fair is first of all agriculture and therefore breeding. An educational farm is installed in the heart of the Capitol with its animals that always know how to seduce young and old. About twenty regional breeds will be represented there, between cows, pigs, sheep, horses and even bees. Who says agriculture, also says machinery: tractors and other combine harvesters impress and are part of the essentials of the event. Not to mention, of course, the omnipresent gastronomy at the show.

2

Shows

A step aside, we move away from the agricultural world to welcome, every evening, a popular singer for a large format concert. And there will be ten! From Florent Pagny to Kendji Girac via Jenifer, Gims, or even Mika, beautiful people will follow one another during this Fair. And this is how, every evening, 20,000 people are expected in front of the stage.

3

Job

Find a job ? It’s possible at the Châlons Fair! Indeed, employment, training and integration will be at the heart of the 2023 event. Whether it is the army, butchery, agriculture, personal services, automotive, administration… The Fair will offer, to bring together employers and candidates, future students and establishments, job-dating in different sectors of activity, conferences, support in integration procedures.
