Chambers of Commerce: Pumping 8,000 tons of meat to contribute to reducing market prices

Dr. Alaa Ezz, Secretary General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, said that the Welcome Ramadan exhibitions helped reduce prices.

Alaa Ezz added, in a telephone interview to the “Min Misr” program with the journalist Amr Khalil, via CBC, that protein prices have begun to stabilize, and rice prices are witnessing a gradual decline, due to the large quantities of products being pumped.

Dr. Alaa Ezz, Secretary General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, explained that the coming period will witness the pumping of large quantities of oils into the market, adding: “The efforts made contributed to reducing prices by 30%.”

With regard to meat, Alaa Ezz said: “Prices are stable and will stabilize during the month of Ramadan, and next week will witness the pumping of 8,000 tons of meat from the ports to the markets, which is good frozen meat at reduced prices,” pointing to the great coordination between all parties to provide food commodities at reduced prices. .
