Abu Dhabi: The UAE Meteorological Center has warned that there is a chance of rain in the country in the coming days. According to Meteorological Department, rain will be experienced in eastern and southern regions from August 14 to 17.

Meanwhile, the UAE has announced an aid of 50,000 dirhams for families evacuated from their homes due to the floods. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council, gave the instruction in this regard.
The funds were allocated to help families return to their homes safely and quickly. About 65 families are expected to benefit from the scheme. Heavy rains in the eastern parts of the country in recent days have flooded many houses. Seven people lost their lives in the rain.
