Jörg Hipp succeeds Christoph Marek
Vienna (OTS) – Allianz Elementar Versicherungs-AG and Allianz Elementar Lebensversicherungs-AG announce that Christoph Marek, Chief Product Officer (CPO), will resign from his position on April 14, 2024 by mutual agreement. He will be followed by Jörg Hipp, subject to the Financial Market Authority not raising any objections.
Jörg Hipp, an experienced insurance economist with over 20 years of professional experience, has held various management positions within the Allianz Group since 2007. Most recently as Head of Underwriting Governance and Transformation, Global Property & Casualty at Allianz SE. Hipp will now take over the board responsibility for CPO (P&C Retail & Commercial, Underwriting Individual Business, Insurance Technology Person, Reinsurance and Portfolio Management) at Allianz Austria.
Allianz Austria warmly welcomes Jörg Hipp and wishes him much success in his new tasks. At the same time, the company would like to thank Christoph Marek for his many years of commitment and his contribution to the company’s success over the last 30 years and wishes him all the best for the future.
