the radio host Sergio “Checho” Hirane became one of the most commented topics on Twitter, after some controversial statements about a possible coup to the government of Gabriel Boric.
The communicator received a call from a follower of his program, where he pointed out that “the solution for this country is going to have to be the same as it was 50 years agoor if not, there is nothing to do, this country went to the crest ”.
In response to this, Hirane said that “I’ve heard plenty of people say that, that the only solution is a coup, hopefully, hopefully it’s not the only solution, I hope we find a democratic way out, but I see it as very difficult“.
“The young man there said that the President has not condemned the violence of the students against the military, and how is he going to condemn it if he himself rebuked a soldier in Plaza ItaliaWhat happens is that we have a bad memory. He was one of these studentsI have no evidence that he promoted violence as a student leader, I did not see him throwing stones, but he was one of those who incited these movementsknowing that they ended in violence”, added the humorist.
Hirane followed up his comment by speaking directly about the military, stating that “I have bad news for youthe military will be many years before they are willing to intervene again. after 50 yearsthere is no military man who has not been in active service during the military regime, that has not gone through courtnone”.
Finally, the radio host stated that “For no reason, the country would have to be falling apart for the military, on their own initiative, to intervene.”
Sergio “Checho” Hirane stops at nothing. Today, with total ease of body and before the expressionless look of Max Colodro, he tells us “hopefully a coup is not the only solution to this government.” What the hell is this man and his radio. pic.twitter.com/eFlVtIxM9z

Hirane’s comments lit up social media, where the communicator was treated with all kinds of adjectives for outlining the idea of a new democratic breakdown in the country. In networks they also targeted the commentator Max Colodro, who accompanied the humorist on the program, and only nodded his head.
