One of the Chevrolet stars of the last time was the Tracker RSa sports variant presented in China that brought several novelties with itself. However, as expected, this version will be replicated in our region.
As well indicated by Autos Segredos, the new configuration of the compact SUV will land on the Brazilian assembly linewhere this model is currently produced not only for the neighboring country’s market, but also for the rest of South America.
Unlike the Chinese sport utility, the regional Tracker RS will be a version with sports aesthetics (not 100 percent sporty), since It will not have a more powerful enginebut will continue with the same 1.2 turbocharged 132 hp and 19.4 kgm of torque, associated with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The idea is to have a variant similar to those already present in Onyx, Cruze and soon Equinox (all with configurations with sporty RS aesthetics). Obviously, the new Tracker will have special bumpers, a greater presence of black elements, rear spoiler, special wheels, among others.
The biggest unknown will be behind closed doors, as the new Tracker RS has a revamped dashboard with a unified instrument panel and center console display. (similar to the Mercedes MBUX), modifications that would also be present in the next Chevrolet Montana, a model that will arrive in Argentina in 2023.
