The well-known journalist Nisreen George confirmed that the children’s cinema program produced generations of scientific and academic elites.

George told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) during her honor from the Children’s Culture House in appreciation of her preparation and presentation of the (Children’s Cinema) program for three decades that “many generations have graduated from the children’s cinema program that was shown on the Iraqi TV channel for more than thirty years,” noting that “These children were buds, and today many of them have become leaders in society.”

She explained: “I was a programmer and presenter and now a kindergarten director, and I still revolve in the delicate orbit of childhood,” adding: “This honor gave value to the years I spent serving childhood.”

She explained that “the Children’s Culture House extends fifty-four years deep into the history of Iraqi society, and is open to the future with creative awareness, keeping pace with the developments of the times, in providing an ideal environment for Iraqi children, taking their hands towards discovering talents and academic excellence, through social media, publications, theatrical performances, and concerts.” Cartoon films are made with suspense in a way that draws the child to useful information, in addition to providing a guidance speech that suits the child’s preparations with high-level, methodological professionalism.”

She continued: “I hope that children will return to gaining knowledge and enjoyable entertainment from the publications of the Children’s Culture House, such as my magazine, Al-Mizmar, and the series of story, poetry, and science booklets.”

She noted: “Doctors, engineers, lawyers, housewives, politicians, and other men and women make me happy when they stop me and brag about their participation in the children’s cinema program when they were young.”
