China bans more than 100 Russian passenger planes from entering its airspace

Exclusive translation: China has banned Russian Boeing and Airbus aircraft from its airspace, citing safety concerns.

According to the “av web” website, more than 100 modern passenger planes, most of which are owned by Russian airlines, have all been prevented from entering Chinese airspace.

China explained that the ban applies to the plane, whose legal status is not clarified following the imposition of Western sanctions on Russia due to the “Ukraine War”.

According to multiple reports, China does not want to violate ICAO regulations by allowing aircraft of unknown maintenance and ownership status to fly over or go to its territory.

Beijing’s move comes following multiple rounds of sanctions imposed by Western governments on Russia, following the Russian Kremlin’s decision to war once morest Ukraine.
