Health Minister Christian Dubé will be a candidate in the next provincial elections on October 3.

“I had been thinking regarding this for a few weeks, and I made the decision to represent myself in La Prairie in the next election,” he confirmed on the show. Quebec morningon TVA Nouvelles.
Christian Dubé indicates that a reflection was necessary, as political life brings its share of challenges to the personal lives of elected officials. He says he has obtained the support of his family to seek a new mandate.
The recent tabling of a vast plan to reform the health system also played a part in his decision.
