Avery Hawkins and the Clarksville Wildcats dominated the 2026 All-Montgomery County volleyball honors, as the program secured a clean sweep of the major superlative awards.
Senior Hawkins was named Player of the Year, while the Clarksville squad earned Team of the Year and coach Glen Fox received Coach of the Year honors.
This marks the fourth consecutive season that Clarksville has swept these top distinctions. The recognition follows a highly successful campaign in which the Wildcats secured their ninth straight district title and their sixth consecutive region championship. The team finished the season with a 29-8 record, competing against what coach Fox described as the toughest schedule the program has ever faced.
Hawkins’ individual performance was a cornerstone of the Wildcats’ success. The senior recorded 258 kills, 106 digs, 102 blocks, and 90 aces, maintaining a 42% kill percentage. As the District 13-AAA MVP, she finished second in the county in total kills. Hawkins is the eighth consecutive Clarksville player to receive the Player of the Year award since the honors began in 2019.
