To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film Jurassic Park (Jurassic Park), the Limited Run studio has announced the upcoming release of a collection of classic video games from the saga for modern… and retro consoles.
The studio intends to revive single-player action titles more precisely Jurassic Park et Jurassic Park Part 2 : The Chaos Continuesreleased in the early 1990s on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Super Nintendo (SNES) consoles, and the GameBoy handheld console.
The video games will be able to be launched on modern consoles PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch, in physical or digital version. For the nostalgic, Limited Run has also planned to produce cartridges of these games compatible with the original consoles.
The titles will be entitled to new functionalities, including the possibility of making save states (save state), new game maps, and various fixes that will improve gameplay.
Limited Run Games will open pre-orders for physical box sets on September 1, and they will continue until October 15.
