ROH’s ”Death Before Dishonor” PPV opened strong with the match between Claudio Castagnoli and Jonathan Gresham for the ROH World Championship.
After an encounter lasting just over ten minutes, Castagnoli was able to Ricola Bomb Gresham for the final count and claim his first World Championship since joining WWE in 2011. He was lucky enough to be the world champion for the PWG and the wXw before his move to WWE among others.

Claudio Castagnoli is now the ROH World Champion, a title he had never won even before his WWE stint as he had only been ROH Tag Team Champion. We will now have to watch how his evolution as ROH world champion will go.
ROH is still looking for a good TV deal to resume weekly shows, that’s what Tony Khan explained at a press conference this week. It is currently possible to follow the rivalries of ROH wrestlers and wrestlers each week on the AEW Dark or AEW Rampage shows.
