In the Hanoi market, Phu Quy Group listed the price of SJC gold bars from 67.2 to 68.2 million VND/tael, an increase of 400,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions. The price of smooth round gold rings is 54.8 – 55.7 million VND/tael, up 300,000 VND/tael.
The price of gold bars listed by Doji Group is 66.5 – 68.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 450,000 VND/tael compared to the previous one.
The price of SJC gold bars in Ho Chi Minh City is listed by Mi Hong gold shop system at 67.2 – 68.2 million VND/tael (buy in – sell out).
Every year, near the Day of the God of Wealth, the people’s demand to buy gold for luck increases, leading to a sharp increase in the domestic gold price. This year, closer to the day of the God of Wealth, the price of gold according to the old rules, also continuously increased. In the past 3 days, the price of gold has increased by nearly 1 million dong/tael.
At the same time, the world gold price was at 1,930 USD/ounce, down 15 USD/ounce. After reaching the highest price in the past 9 months, the world gold price continued to increase. According to the exchange rate, the world gold price is about 56 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees).
On the domestic currency market, on the morning of January 27, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate of 23,605 VND/USD. Reference exchange rate at the State Bank’s Transaction Office is 24,780 VND/USD.
At commercial banks, Vietcombank listed 23,280 – 23,620 VND/USD, Vietinbank 23,290 – 23,630 VND/USD.
