Writing.- The Sports Medicine and Research Laboratory of CODE Guanajuato becomes a model dependency of the government of the State of Guanajuato by receiving the “Punto Limpio” and “Moderniza” certifications granted by the government’s Secretary of Tourism in the same period from Mexico.
The certifications recognize the good practices for the hygienic and sanitary quality of the laboratory, while Moderniza is a management system to improve the profitability and competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized companies.
The Director of Sports Medicine of CODE Guanajuato, Dr. Daniel Alberto Galván, explained that since September of last year the agency’s staff participated in training sessions with the purpose of improving the operation and quality of service of the Sports Medicine Laboratory.
The improvements applied by the personnel to the operation processes were supervised by the trainers in various stages and it was on January 10 when the final review was carried out where they verified compliance with the necessary requirements to obtain the certifications.
The Sports Medicine and Research Laboratory, located in the facilities of the CODE Sports Center in Guanajuato capital, is one of the most dynamic Departments of CODE Guanajuato, its work contributes to maintaining the health and well-being of athletes who represent Guanajuato in competitions. national and international, as well as supporting the population that requires it to adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles.
Only last year, the laboratory, as well as the nutrition programs, functional medical assessment of athletes, healing, nursing, and physiotherapy, provided a total of 28,500 services.
