On Friday (29/03) the curtain falls on the trial for the case of the rape and prostitution of the 12-year-old girl in Colonos. The lawyers’ buy-outs were completed tonight and the court adjourned to deliver its verdict on Friday.
It is recalled that the Public Prosecutor has proposed the guilt of the 55-year-old main defendant for aggravated abuse of a minor in carelessness, possession of pornographic material with a minor, but without coercion and profiteering, but also for facilitating the minor’s extradition, as well as for gun possession. Instead, he pleaded not guilty on suspicion of raping the 12-year-old, pimping in brothels and coercive pimping with proceeds of prostitution.
With regard to the mother of the 12-year-old, the prosecutor proposed her guilt for the distinguished case of pornography as she allegedly distributed material of the minor to co-accused, for the distinguished case of pimping with the aggravating circumstance that she herself is a person who has custody and care of the minor but also for extortion against the ex-wife of the 55-year-old.
For the remaining 23 accused, referred to as “clients”, he recommended the guilty of 22 for sexual acts with a minor for pay who has reached the age of 12 and the acquittal due to doubt of one accused, of Pakistani origin.
