Comilog organizes a sports day for the degreasing of its employees

Ab exercises and fitness sessions punctuated the Sports Day, organized this Saturday, February 24, 2024 by the Ogooué Mining Company (Comilog) at its facilities in the city of Owendo (coastal town, neighboring Libreville). ).

Dozens of Comilog employees did not shy away from their pleasure of participating in this sporting activity which contributes to well-being. Under the guidance of the sports masters, the participants competed in energy.

“Comilog, in its concern to participate in the good development of its agents, their beneficiaries and in its CSR policy, saw fit to organize this sports day in order to involve as many people as possible so that beyond the week of work, today we are going to say that we have difficult work weeks, so to involve these populations in degreasing, and as they say: a healthy mind in a healthy body”, explained Rufin Martial Ikamba, communications manager for the sports day.

For the organizers, the establishment of this sports day will be long-term. This should contribute to the fight against obesity and other diseases linked to a sedentary lifestyle. The sports hall called: “Gymnase Polycarpe Mamouaka”, built by Comilog for this purpose, is equipped with all the modern equipment for getting back into shape.

“The room has existed for several years now but the general public is not aware of the existence of this room. And so this stone’s throw allows not only to participate in well-being but also to make known the sports hall dedicated not only to Comilog agents but always also to the populations through a subscription”, he said, also calling on all populations, including surrounding businesses, to register their staff in order to improve their good health.
