Compared to his salary, Kip reveals the value of every goal Messi scored in France

Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino insists he has “always committed to his professional duty” at every club he has coached amid rumors he has been disappointed by missing out on a move to Manchester United.

According to the newspaper,s“The Spanish coach, the Argentine, was the favorite to succeed the interim German coach, Ralf Rangnick, who took his place at Old Trafford since the dismissal of the Dutch coach, Gunnar Solskjaer, last November.

But the Manchester United administration officially announced that Ajax coach, Dutchman Eric Ten Hag, will take over his duties at the head of the “Red Devils”, starting from next season until June 2025, in a move in which the English club is counting on a football renaissance that brings it back to its usual level.

“Manchester United is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Ten Hag as the men’s first-team coach… from the end of the current season until June 2025, with an option to extend for an additional year,” the club said in a statement.

Reports in the British press indicate that Pochettino was surprised by United’s decision, as the Argentine was said to have been searching for a house in Manchester in preparation for living there.

Speaking ahead of Paris Saint-Germain’s clash with Lens on Saturday, the match in which the Paris giant is expected to win the domestic league title, Pochettino was adamant that he is committed to his role at the Parc des Princes.

“All the rumors that have surfaced this year and throughout my career have never bothered me,” he said.

He continued, “I did not comment on the rumours, and I previously coached the clubs of Espanyol, Southampton and Tottenham, and today I coach Paris Saint-Germain, and I have always been fully committed to doing my professional duty.”

And he added, “I work in the same way by focusing on goals, and if I devote myself to following all the rumors, life will be different.”

United’s decision to disregard the contract with Pochettino means that the future of the former Tottenham coach is still ambiguous, especially since there are reports talking about Paris Saint-Germain’s desire to obtain the services of the well-known Italian coach, Antonio Conte, to lead the companions of the Argentine star, Lionel Messi, next season.
